Creating interface 'on the fly'
Creating interface "on the fly"
A model may be connected with a source table or a file even if the source object does not contain an appropriate interface. The interface may be created "on the fly". To do this, just type in the interface name in the connection dialog (instead of selecting an existing one from the list). After pressing the OK button, the Modeler displays the Creating Interface dialog where you should specify the variables that compose the new interface in the source object.
In the left side you see the list of variables that compose the target interface. You should connect each of these variables with an appropriate variable in the source object. To do this, select in turn all variables in the left box. The right box will show the list of compatible variables in the source object. You can either select the desired variable and click Connect Selected button, or (only when connecting to a source table) click Connect to new to add a new variable to the table.
Click OK to complete the interface and connection.
