To locate an object in the data hierarchy
An IDA system may contain several similar objects located in different part of the system. For example, a building may contain multiple windows in different rooms and stories.
To find the location of the given object in the data hierarchy,
- Select or open the object to be located.
- Select the menu item View | Navigate,
or click on the Navigate button
in the toolbar.
The location of the selected object is shown in the Navigate dialog.
The dialog provides also a possibility to open any data object in the data hierarchy.
