Macro objects
To define a new type of macro object, do the following:
- Select a name for the macro object. The name should be valid for using as a file (and folder) name.
- Add a template record to the application file (see custom data objects):
((template :n name :c macro-object ...) ...)
- To make this macro object insertable in some other objects, modify the :ins attributes of that objects.
- [optionally] A symbol file name.ids may be supplied to provide a picture for this macro object.
- [optionally] Create a subfolder name in the application folder. Save here the default and alternative document templates for the new macro object. If no default template is defined, the template from the application file will be used as the default one.
- [optionally] Write the script method :assert. The scripts should be stored in file name.cms.
