Delivered Energy
Delivered Energy
This report gives an overview of the total energy that has been purchased to (or generated within) the building. To be counted, the energy has to be delivered to or produced by traders that are defined as being "inside assessment boundary", which is set in Energy contracts and traders.
The items in the report correspond directly to defined Energy meters. In addition to meter energy, cost, emitted CO2 and used primary energy are also presented, both as absolute values and in relation to building floor area. The conversion factors between meter energy and the other measures are defined in Energy meters. If these factors are missing, no data is printed for the missing item in the Delivered Energy report.
Purchased amount of fuel is measured in terms of its heating (calorific) value in kWh.
Locally generated energy, e.g. from PV, wind generators or CHP, is reported as being negative. Prices are set in the Contract rate plans. Currently, locally generated energy is used within the building as far as possible. Only when the local demand is satisfied, energy is sold. The locally used generated energy is distributed among energy meters in proportion to their demand.
The time evolution of the individual terms can be followed by selecting Log sources in the List of output objects.

The Table sums up the produced, purchased and exported energy of different carriers (here Electricity and Fuel, but could also be District heat and District cooling). Numbers for primary energy, non-renewable primary energy and CO2-emissions are also given.
RER = Renewable Energy Ratio and is calculated as 1 - Non-renewable primary energy / Total primary energy.
RER on-site is calculated as Produced primary energy (by renewables) / Total primary energy.
The table shows the exported, purchased and produced electricity. The exported electricity is given as a negative number, so the sum of all gives the total electricity delivered to be used. Note that electricity purchased by the Tenant is not included, since the Tenant in this case was set to be "outside assessment boundary" in Energy contracts and traders. Monthly value are shown by clicking on "Show months", which is also shown in the diagram.
Similar tables and diagrams are also shown for other energy carriers that are used (e.g. fuel, district heat and district cooling), as well as for total primary energy, non-renewable energy and CO2-emissions.
