To edit an element

To edit an element

The following graphical elements may be edited:

• The line-type shapes are edited in special mode; see edit lines for details;
• The text in the text elements and other elements containing text; see editing text;
• The icons implemented as symbol documents (.ids files) are edited in a separate window.

To start editing, do one of the following:

1. Double-click the element to be edited (if the cursor contains the edit tool )
2. Select the element and click the edit button  in the toolbar, or select the menu item Edit from the shortcut menu.
