Advanced properties

The Advanced properties dialog allows supplying additional parameters to graphical elements.

Here are some commonly used additional parameters and their values

:border The border of the field element. Values: :NONE, :PLAIN, :STATIC, :BLACK.
:connector This element is a connector spot. The value is either the interface name or :all.
:edge The width of the edge on the sides of lines. The edge is drawn using line-ground color. The edge 0 means the narrowest edge that can be drawn.
:help-string The text to be shown in the status bar when the mouse is over this element.
:hi The index of the help topic describing the element.
:on-add A script to be executed when an element is added to the pane. See script methods for details.
:open Function or script to be executed to open the element.
:outline The color of the [additional] border of the field element.
:padding The distance between the border and interior of the element, in pixels. The value is either a number or list (top [right [bottom [left]]]). The default for right and bottom is top; the default for left is right.
:page The property page to be shown when the element is selected. The value may be either a filename of the form or an expression (:eval script).
:relfont The font size should be adjusted depending on the element size. The value is a factor (1 means that the text should occupy the whole extent).
:resize If set to NIL, the element is not resizable. If set to 1, the element is resized only proportionally [In the current version this does not work when resizing multiple elements).
:transparent If non-NIL, the element is filled in transparent mode.
:shortcut-menu-items List of names of menu items to be included in the element's shortcut menu.

The properties specific to particular element types are listed in the corresponding topics.
