The Zone sensor is used to transmit various signals from one or more zone to control macros.

The Zone sensor may be inserted in any macro object by dragging from palette page Links.

After inserting the sensor, the user should open it (double-click) and

  • select a signal from the list of available signals.
  • select zones to read signal from – by clicking the link "Zones", see Select zones dialog
  • choose how to combine signals from multiple zones (minimum, maximum, sum or averages with different weights)

The following signals are currently available:

  • Measured signals as:
    • Mean air temperature
    • operative temperature
    • Relative humidity [0-1]
    • CO2 level [mg/kg]
    • CO2 level [ppm vol]
    • Dew point
    • Daylight [lx]
  • Zone control
    •
  • Other signals

The zone sensors can be connected inside the macro in usual way.

The connection with measured signal is established automatically. However, if the zone sensor is inserted or changed at advanced level, the user is responsible to fix the connection with measured signal (the zone sensor works as interface reference, see Connection via border of macro)
