Input data report

The Input data report, like all reports, pertain to the last case actually run. It saves data from that time and presents it.

If no changes have been made in the model after the run, all values can be found elsewhere in the case.

The first line of the report, after the report head, is the infiltration, either the Fixed infiltration airflow rate, or the Wind driven infiltration rate given in the General tab/Infiltration form.

The "Building envelope" table, sums the Areas, U values, U*A values and finally percent of total U*A, for Walls above ground, Walls below ground, Roof, Floor towards ground, Floor towards ambient air, Windows, Doors and also the total U*A for the Thermal bridges, which are specified in the next table. All values in this table should coincide with the summed values from the General tab's Zone totals table, if no changes have been made to the model since last run.

The "Thermal bridges" table shows the area or length, the average heat conductivity, and the total of these values, for the External wall - Internal slab, External wall - Internal wall, External wall - External wall, Window perimeter, External door perimeter, Roof - External wall, External slab - External wall, Balcony floor - External wall, External slab - Internal wall, Roof - Internal wall, External wall - Inner corner,

Roof / external walls, inner corner, External slab / external walls, inner corner and Total envelope respectively. Also the total sum of the Extra losses given in each zone. The values should coincide with the sum of the Loss factor for thermal bridges form, given in each zone.

The "Windows" table puts the model's windows into bins specified by the compass' N, NNE, NE, ENE, E, ESE, SE, SSE, S, SSW, SW, WSW, W, WNW, NW, NNW and R, which stands for Roof windows (windows with no tilt). If a window's azimuthal angle (with north at 0 degrees) lies between -11.25 (or 348.75) degrees and 11.25, it is placed into the "N" bin. If the azimuthal angle lies between 11.25 and 33.75, it is placed into the "NNW" bin etc.

For each bin, the total area, u value for the glass, u value for the frame, total u value, u*A, and shading factor, g, is presented. At the bottom of the table, the bins are summed.

The "DHW use" table presents the specified Domestic hot water used (from the General tab/Extra energy and losses form), in the unit specified, and, in the case of the unit being liters/occupant and day, the number of occupants in the building. It also shows the total value in liters/second.

The three tables "Occupant/Lighting/Equipment schedules in zones" (which can be expanded/contracted by clicking on them) shows the different schedule names used in all zones, and also calculates the percentage of zones with that schedule, weighted by total zone area.

The table "Controller setpoints in zones" likewise shows the Max/Min setpoints for Temperature in the Zones' Setpoint collection form, and calculates the percentage of zones with those setpoints, weighted by total zone area. If a setpoint is governed by a schedule, it is shown as COMPLEX.
