Remote connection

A causal connection to an outlying source component may be represented as a connection line between the target model and a reference to a remote interface.

A reference to a remote interface is a special object that can be inserted in any macro, see Inserting new components. The reference is shown in the schematic view as a hyperlink with a connector spot.

To bind the reference, right click on it and select Reference from context menu. In the Select target dialog, select from outline an interface, a parameter, or a variable that will be the source of the remote connection.
