New Application dialog box

The New Application dialog box is used for creating new IDA applications.

To display this dialog box, select the menu item Tools | New application.

Application name

The name of the new application. The application's directory will have the same name.

Description

Additional information about the application.

Simulation type

Select the type of simulation to be supported in your application.

Dynamic – use this alternative if your application should support dynamic simulations.

Periodic – use this alternative if your application should support both dynamic and periodic simulations.

Static – use this alternative if your NMF models contain neither differential equations nor time variable.

Time scale

The time unit used in NMF models.

Component libraries

Select the component libraries to be used in your application. The component libraries should be written in NMF and translated with IDA NMF Translator.
Every library consists of 2 files with the same name and extensions dll (Dynamic Link Library, contains compiled NMF models; used by IDA Solver) and eo (Equation Object; contains the description of NMF models; used by IDA Modeler).
