What reports and results do you get?

Monthly and annually integrated values

Various predefined reports enable analysis of monthly or annually integrated values. The following reports are currently implemented.

Traded energy

This report presents for each non-Utility Trader separately:

  • Energy balance "Used" - "Produced" = "Purchased" - "Exported" for each carrier (Electricity, Fuel, District heat, District cooling)
  • Cost balance "Purchased" (from Utilities) + "Bought" (form other non-Utility Traders) - "Exported" (to Utilities) - "Sold" (to other non-Utliity Traders)

Traded electricity for a system with three Traders: The facility and one tenant running an industrial process (using electricity and producing waste heat) that is represented by an additional Trader.

Delivered energy

This report presents the energy balance for the system that is defined to assess the overall energy performance of a building. It includes all energy passing the so called "assessment boundary" in either direction, which is either:

  • Energy purchased or bought from outside of the assessment boundary
  • Energy exported or sold to outside of the assessment boundary
  • Energy produced on-site
  • Environment heat or cooling

This energy balance is either presented unweighted for each carrierĀ (Electricity, Fuel, District heat, District cooling) separately, or weighted by one of the environmental factors (Total primary energy, Renewable primary energy, CO2 emission or other national factors) and summed up for all carriers.

Multizone energy balance

The multizone report shows the combined zone energy report for an arbitrary collection of zones. This report is also generated by default for each zone (Results tab in each zone), and for the whole building (Energy balance link in Energy summary).

Comparative reports

The Comparative report compares key results between different variants of a model. For this report, first make changes in your model, simulate, and save as separate IDA files. Use short file names which preferably display your model version in the first 9 characters, as only the first 9 characters of the file names are shown in the report. If needed, the program will add some characters to the file names to make them unique.
