The table Windows shows all windows and skylights in the building, both inserted in zones and in faces (on a building body).

Name

The window name

Type

Window, Window (detailed) or SkyLight

Group

The zone group name. Shown as "n.a." (not applicable) for windows inserted into faces and having no adjacent zones

Zone

The zone in which the window is inserted.

Face

The face towards which the window faces or, for internal windows, the adjacent zone.

External or InternalThe face type of the window.

Sill height from ground

Distance from ground level to lowest point of the window.

Sill height from floor

Distance from zone floor level to lowest point of the window.

Azimuth

0 for windows faced to North, 90 to East, etc. Empty for horizontal windows

Slope

From 0 for floor to 180 for ceiling

Area

The window area including the frame. For skylights – the base area.

Glazing

The glass construction

g (SHGC)

The Solar heat gain coefficient of the glazing

T

The solar transmittance of the glazing

Glazing U

The U-value of the glazing

Frame fract

The fraction of the frame. Empty for skylights.

Frame U

The U-value of the frame. Empty for skylights.

Win total U

The overall U-value of the window. Empty for skylights.

Int Shading

The type of the integrated shading. For detailed windows available only if the window construction contains a shading layer

Control

Selection of control strategy for integrated shading device.

Schedule

Schedule for integrated shading, 1=completely drawn, 0=completely open

Ext shading

Choice of external window shading

Opening control

Selection of control strategy for window opening

Opening schedule

Schedule for degree of window opening, 0 = fully closed, 1 = fully open

The table Surfaces shows all walls, the floor and the ceiling of the zones in the building.

Name

The surface name

Group

The zone group name

Type

Roof/wall/floor, external or internal. In case of mixed external/internal the percent of mixture is shown

Area

The area of the inner surface of the wall, excluding windows, openings, and doors

Connected to

The list of the zones and faces on the other side of the wall

Azimuth

0 for walls faces to North, 90 to East, etc. Empty for horizontal surfaces

Slope

From 0 for floor to 180 for ceiling

Construction

Wall construction. Shown as "<mixed>" and non-editable for mixed internal/external walls. Constructions of any wall parts are not shown here.

U-value

The U-value of the construction at standard conditions . Shown as "<mixed>" for mixed internal/external walls.

Thickness

The total thickness of the construction. For mixed constructions, both values are shown: external / internal

Layer material

The material of the 1-st layer (the layers are ordered as defined in the wall construction). Empty for mixed constructions.

Layer thickness

The thickness of the 1-st layer. Empty for mixed constructions.

Layer material etc.

The material of the 2-nd layer etc.

The table Wall parts

An editable list of all wall parts in the building with similar columns to the "surfaces" table as described above.

The table Openings shows all oin the building, both inserted in zones and in faces (on a building body).

Name

The opening name

Type

Type of opening

Group

The opening group name. Shown as "n.a." (not applicable) for openings inserted into faces and having no adjacent zones

Zone

The zone in which the opening is inserted.

Face

The face towards which the opening faces or, for internal leaks, the adjacent zone.

External or internalType of the opening

Azimuth

0 for openings faced to North, 90 to East, etc. Empty for horizontal openings

Slope

From 0 for floor to 180 for ceiling

Area

The opening area.

Construction

The opening construction

U-valueThe heat transfer coefficient (u-value, W/(m2*K))

Opening schedule

Schedule for degree of window opening, 0 = fully closed, 1 = fully open

Equivalent leak area

Leak area for closed internal doors

Inner surface

The name of the choosen inner surface with given properties

Outer surface

The table Leaks shows all leaks of the building inserted in zones.

Name

Name of the leak

Group

The leak group name.

Zone

The zone in which the leak is inserted.

Face

The face towards which the leak is inserted or, for internal leaks, the adjacent zone.

Azimuth

0 for leaks faced to North, 90 to East, etc. Empty for horizontal openings

Slope

From 0 for floor to 180 for ceiling

Inpar

0 if Leak area (ELA) is choosen and 1 if Powerlaw coef (CT) is choosen

ELA

Equivalent leak area, which is the opening area multiplied by the discharge coeffiecient, Cd, at 4 Pa pressure difference, dP

CT

Powerlaw coefficient (kg/(s*Pa^n)

N
