ICE 4.0 Build 2.01 released 2009-12-10

• Large bug in the Excel-export of input data fixed.

• Now climate files are included by default in support mails.

ICE 4.0 Build 2 released 2009-10-22

General changes

• A license upgrade system was added.

• Temporary licenses without registration were made possible.

• More input for user-defined shading and opening controls were defined.

• In IFC import, improved shapes of zones and wall and window-types were added, and
  an option to ignore the roof was added.

• Some ambiguous terms were changed: "Building section" is now
  "Building body part" (or just "body part").
  "Load" changed to "Internal gain".

• The Standard Edition Supports the extension "Openings and detailed windows"
  (as before, included in Expert edition).

• Editing of diagrams is now supported in Standard Edition.

• In the model STATSENS, the input interface AmbientPress may be
  left unconnected if the used mode does not require ambient
  pressure (currently only the mode 1 (pressure difference)
  requires ambient pressure).

• More relevant information was added in the "About" dialog.

• Checking for self-intercection when editing building body
  and zones was implemented.

• Compatibility between Room Wizard and Interner Explorer 8 was fixed.

Changes in models

• SIMBOIL Fixed calculation of water temperature inside chiller
  SIMCHIL and boiler. This does not affect temperature of outlet.
  A time constant was applied to output temperatures.

Fixed bugs

• Fixed bugs in ground U-values (this did not affect simulations).

• Fixed bug in external floors facing to constant temperature
  (an isolation layer was added as for floor on ground).

• In 3D view, the wall tickness behind radiators was fixed
  (the bug did not affect simulations).

• Fixed error in upgrading plant from older versions (some
  new variables were not mapped correctly).

• Fixed an error in editing zone shapes on the floor plan:
  it was not possible to stick the last wall (the left one for
  4-wall zone with unchanged orientation) to the adjacent
  zone or to the building face.

• Bugs in cold losses calculations: (1) wrong sign or result
  (2) worked only with ideal cooler.

• Problem with refreshing forms after changes in some types
  of fields (e.g., hyperlinks with submenu) was fixed.

• Fixed problem with loading old cases with internal doors
  or windows.

• Fixed setpoint offset for ideal coolers and cooled floors
  in case of VAV air control.

• Fixed the presentation of setpoints in AHU generated from Room
  Wizard (they had correct values but was incorrectly shown
  in the schematic view. Also it was not possible to edit them).

• Fixed the case when a ceiling part (that is, intersection of a zone
  with a roof part) consists of more than one unconnected part.

• Fixed "Replace" for windows and opening on floor pane.
  Disabled "Replace" of zones and building body parts.

• Fixed bug in calculation of overlapping or heated or cooled
  floors or ceilings of complex shape with the boundaries of
  the adjacent zones.

• It was not possible to open the floor plan of the building without
  body and zones. Now fixed.

• If a "heating/cooling floor" coincides with a "wall part",
  the construction of the "wall part" was ignored. Now it is used
  as construction of "heating/cooling floor".

• Fixed the refreshing of window titles after renaming documents
  (at "Save as" or "Save as Version").

• Fixed an error in drawing tables (in argument of the function
  SECTION-PARENT).

• Fixed bug in calculation of ground and roof area in the
  "zone totals" table on the main page (did not affect simulations).

• Fixed a crash in the function polygon-from-sides when calculating
  overlapping of polygons when one of polygons is self-intersecting.
  Now it shows an error message instead.

• A wall may be merged with a vertical roof part only if this will
  not expand the wall in horizontal direction.
